<3SOR II CCCB

Light design for CCCB Museum

® Sofia Suarez, XAARCHIVE STUDIO

For the second session off live music cycle <3OR TRESOR at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, we conceived TRSOR—a central light sculpture and spatial instrument designed to translate sound into atmosphere.

Positioned as both stage set and architectural intervention, TRSOR responds in real time to the rhythm and intensity of the music. Throughout the night, DJs rotated every 15 minutes through an algorithm-driven randomizer, generating an unpredictable sonic landscape. The sculpture captured these shifts and transformed each beat into evolving constellations of light—pulses, gradients, and spatial vibrations that extended the music beyond the auditory realm.

TRSOR operates as an organic machine: a luminous core that synchronizes the room. Rather than functioning as a passive object, it acts as a central nervous system for the space—absorbing tempo, frequency, and amplitude, and redistributing them as dynamic light. The result is an immersive environment in constant flux, shaped as much by the crowd’s energy as by the sound itself.

With TRSOR, we explore responsive design as a catalyst for collective experience—where architecture is not static form, but a living interface between sound, body, and space.
