On this project, we used 3D scanning technology to replicate the ruins remains of favignana, produced by calcarenite extraction, and understand them as a unique and potential site to be repurposed.

Some of the programs developed included a botanical garden, that benefits from the site’s particular minerals and human-centered purposes like a hotel that would attract tourist to this peculiar landscape.
