Mushroomgrower or “Honguera” in spanish, is a design of an object in the intersection of decorative, funcitional and productive practices. We designed a 3D printed Mushroom holder to push the consumption and the multiplicity of species that could be living in the domestic environment. The design is algorithmic-based, and created throught coding. This allows us to design a piece that is controlled through a set of variables, but that can be infinatelly iterated creating each time a one-of a kind piece that is as vast and variated as the fungi it will hold.

It was awarded 1st place at Rea! fiera in Milan by Artsed.
